WASP Jean E. McCart 44-W-4
« on: January 24, 2020, 02:02:48 PM »
Hey Gang,

Back on the AMF after a technical difficulties hiatus.  Thanks to Eric and Carl for getting me back up and running!  So here goes my first posting in a while.

My latest, last and best acquisition of 2019.  A grouping of items belonging to WASP Jean E. McCart, class 44-W-4.  As you can see the grouping contains her A-9 flight helmet, with attached leather name tag.  A photo in the cockpit of a T-6 wearing what I believe to be this helmet.  A smaller framed photo, her Certificate of Service and a restaurant group photo of Jean with 7 other WASPs.  Each of the 7 wrote a little note in the margins of the photo.

Wow, Paul, what a stunning group! Thanks for sharing it here on the forum.

Have you been able to pull any research on her?

Thanks again!
