Patch 101st Airborne
« on: April 27, 2020, 02:15:59 PM »
Hello everyone, I am posting this patch here because I would like to know if it is authentic. I don't see the same eyes in the nine patch models presented by Mark Bando. Thanks in advance, have a nice day.

This looks very similar to my Type 1. I would say it's good. The only thing that gives me pause is the long threads in the back but it's not enough to make me think it's not an authentic WW II issue.

I am not sure that tab is correct for a 101st patch. It seems small, like maybe one for the Airborne Command patch. If I saw this on a uniform, it wouldn't concern me since soldiers used what ever they could get and weren't bothered by regulations.

Here is mine for comparison

Thank you for your reply. I made the same reflection for the tab. The manufacturing seems however homogeneous.
