WWII Ammo Can
« on: April 10, 2014, 09:57:41 PM »
The ammo can, what a wonderful invention.  Used to carry ammo, bail out foxholes, use as a latrine and many other things.  I got this one full of Greek M2 ammo from the CMP.  Needless to say I was over joyed to have receive it.

I pick up the old ammo cans anytime I can get a deal on them. There are endless uses for them for sure. We used the ammo crates to place over our slit trench.

I'd like to own a MA Duce but I can't afford one nor anyother automatic weapon.  The ammo came at a very good price.

Looks like one of the cans with theside latch. One of the better ones to have.
Some will die in hot pursuit and fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain.....
