A Vietnam War era Marine Aviation Observer patch

Hi all,
I wanted to share this patch and am also hoping to find out more about the unit,it's members and when and where they operated.From what little I know this is a Vietnam War era piece,I'm guessing incountry made,and was used by Marine Aviation Forward Observers.I found a small reference that described them riding along with Army FAC's,and they may have been based at Marble Mountain at one time.
Anyway I think it is an unusual and interesting piece for what must have been a very small unit in Nam.If anyone has any additional info please add it here as I would like to learn more.

This is a beautiful and I assume rare patch..

Would be interesting to comb through old unit histories to see if this patch is pictured in one of them...
