British para HSAT MkII 1944 with flash
« on: December 11, 2017, 08:36:12 AM »
A well used and reused wartime British airborne helmet with obvious post war reuse with an off yellow paint scheme typical of helmets from the 1960's along with a unit flash probably for Royal Engineers Parachute Squadron which is written inside it along with a name and number as well as 5 white marks presumably for his jumps.
Regards,

Jerry BB.

5 lines may not signify his jumps as to get your wings you need to do eight jumps with the last being a night jump.
