I've been away for the few days, so just seeing this. Wow, I'm shocked. I spoke with him on the phone a couple months ago; always a joy to speak with. Loss of a truly great man. My condolences to his family.

Some will die in hot pursuit and fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain.....

I am heartbroken to read this sad news!  Robin was a friend, both here and in the "Real World" to me.  I will truly miss our phone conversations.  I pray for peace and comfort for T and his son during this time of loss.  I will miss our phone conversations about collecting, but more importantly about life and its happenings.  He will be truly missed!
RIP Robin (Jacks Son).
Always looking for 325th G.I.R. and WWII USMC items!

I haven't had a chance to bump this up until today../

But for those new members who have joined us recently,, our Founder Robin Ray was a remarkable person and without his love of militaria our Forum would not have been possible..

His legend lives on with your contributions and our continued support to fund the site..

Robin.. Thank you my friend for your friendship and the conversations we shared..

We will meet up again someday and talk into eternity...

RIP

Bumping this back to the top again as we have just passed the 3rd Anniversary of Robin's passing..

You are at Peace Robin and again I reflect back on our conversations and your wealth of knowledge..

Thank you again my friend.. I look forward to when we will be able to see each other again..

Blessings to Robin's wife and son and may they also find comfort in knowing that Robin is at Peace and Pain free..

I salute you both and I salute the Founder of our Forum...

I will second what Smitty said, still missed and thought about.

I smile a bit thinking of all of the "newsworthy" things Robin would have commented on this year... Thanks to Teresa and Ken for keeping this forum open.     Scott
