Prayers for Manchester/The U.K tonght
« on: May 22, 2017, 07:17:32 PM »
The damage is still being assessed and the numbers are not yet firm, but it appears that a bomb has killed at least 19 concert goers in England. Sending thoughts. prayers and best wishes for our U.K. forum members and all of those affected by this attack.   Scott

Prayers have been said.  I'm just wondering how many more of these attacks are going to happen before the people get pissed!!

Thank you for those kind words gentlemen. Things are still "fluid" but it looks increasingly likely that once again the followers of "the religion of peace" are behind this outrage, though they have yet to claim responsibility!  It was a soft target...teens and kids at a pop gig. I'll add updates as they become available.

What will probably happen now is once they've ID'd the bomber, the Counter-Terrorist Police will swoop on his home, detain or arrest his known contacts, sieze his computer and go through his phone records with a fine tooth comb etc., in order to yield any clues and to assist in uncovering a possible sleeper cell.  Plus, there'll be a lot of CCTV footage to go through. Even if he's deemed to be a "lone wolf", they usually have contacts anyway.

I have no words to write that make sense out of this.  As a military person I don't know how to defend my friends or family from attacks like this.  The attackers are many times citizens of the country they are attacking.  So what do we do?  Surrender is option, losing our civil rights is not an option and killing all people who are Muslim is not an option.

We have no other option but to stand and take it.
