Type B1 suit, flying
« on: April 09, 2017, 01:19:19 PM »
Another Ebay pick up , not commonly seen as far as im aware . It is cut from HBT material but in a slightly different colour , and on the back is a large winged prop . According to sources , these were mostly issued to ground crew and Aviation cadets .

2018 and STILL WANTED! a pair of RAF 1940 Patt boots and RAF life vest
Always looking for quality condition USAAF stationary, ephemera, equipment and clothing.
Starting to look for the harder to find items e.g. survival kits and items also woukd like to add a complete "Gibson Girl " set up

Nice find Carl. I posted a vid on here a couple of weeks ago showing a P-47 being assembled in the field. The ground-crew wear similar HBTs with stencilled wings...take a look here.
