Made the front page of the paper last week and again today

   I didn't even have to commit a crime!
 
  So a week ago Tuesday the Detroit Free Press published an article about our museum and the then upcoming 100th Anniversary of the U.S. entering WWI. When it got published, I started receiving calls from friends and relatives as the reporter put my mug on the front page. Sooo, time passes and today marks the 100th of the U.S. entry and the article gets recycled in papers around the state as the Detroit free Press is part of a larger conglomerate. Can't complain about the coverage, the article itself is a bit all over. Still, a wonderful way to spread awareness. We were also featured several times today on the local CBS television affiliate. I will try to ad that video when its available.    Scott

  Here is a link to the Free Press competitors story. This group is called Mlive and they release through the AP wire. This story is very well done and has gone all over the country! Hope you all enjoy this little bit of our Michigan history and our new museum.   Scott

You know what they say Scott?  "Any publicity is good publicity!"  Congrats on making the news.  ( I shared it on our museum's FB page...hope that's ok?)

   You mean I wasn't already entitled to one :-[.   

  In all seriousness, the articles have been great for an uptick in visitors and hopefully we will start to see more artifact donations as the weather improves!    Scott
