73rd Armor beer mug
« on: April 02, 2017, 01:04:55 AM »
Just flew in from the States.
My old unit 73rd Armor, (4/73rd) to be exact. The HONOR FIDELITY COURAGE motto has faded through the years.
On the other side 1/4 Cav. or "QUARTERHORSE" unit insignia. They were attached to us on Panzer Kaserne in the 70's.
The only marking on the mug is W.GERMANY, so it's at least 28 years old.
Thought I'd also add my 1st Infantry Div. 1 liter mug, found the mug in my tool shed years ago and had the B.R.O. engraved on it.

Gorgeous Steins..

The etched glass 1 ID BRO is really nice...

The W. Germany marking is great.. Really identifies the separation of Germany back then when things were marked German Democratic Republic (DDR) or West Germany..

My folks used to collect Hummel figures and many of them were marked W. Germany...

Great stuff Pat
