Here is another updated exhibit that we are working on here at the NCO Heritage and Education Center (Museum)

A SOG NCO with a regular line grunt discussing location on map and a VC that just came out of a spider hole. The model in front of the enemy is a VC tunnel complex that one of our International Student instructors from Australia constructed. We are still modifying the exhibit and waiting on some more support items to arrive. We will have a look down case with most of the infantry weapons used during the Vietnam War (M-14, M16A1, M-79, etc). So this will be updated when we have that completed..

Hope you like it...

Carl,

I never did reply back to you reference the items on exhibit. The OG107s are original, the web gear and weapons are original. The tiger stripes are reproduction. The VC conical hat is original as well as his black pajamas. We had several sets that were donated by a Special Forces student back in the 70's. He brought a large amount of VC and NVA gear back to include a VC shotgun and some other items..

Good looking display.

Some will die in hot pursuit and fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain.....

Thanks Ron,

We are prepping for another VN exhibit up at the Command Group Office of the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence (This is the new name for the Center of NCO Education) it is also still known as the US Army Sergeant's Major Academy but we do much more than just train Sergeant's Major students.. We are also the proponent for all NCO Education and professional development...

Will update in a new thread when we are ready to deploy the artifacts..
