The iconic "Blue bunny" suit , its proper nomenclature being " Suit,Pilots,Type F1 (electrically heated 24 volts DC ). 
 [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

 [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
 [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The Type E1 glove , not often encountered with the wiring and plugs as im led to believe

The Type D1 , Shoe ,Pilots
 [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Hey Carl,

Awesome! One of the holy grails of USAAF flight gear. Fantastic find.  Looks like its in terrific shape.  Quite often when found they are pretty moth eaten.  Great score!  Enjoy.

Finally have this set up in hand !  at last it has sunk in that i have found a  complete set up . Suit gloves and the boot inserts !!

When I interviewed the Ball Turret Gunner, S/Sgt Allen Kellogg, from my Uncle's B-17 crew, he said that the blue suit was all he wore (plus Long John's) when he flew in the ball turret - too cramped otherwise
