Purple Heart Dog Tag Board
« on: January 22, 2016, 01:25:47 PM »
I put together a little display consisting of the dog tags in my collection that belonged to servicemen who were documented as having been wounded and receiving the Purple Heart. Displayed are dog tags from WW1, WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. The dog tags on the bottom belonged to a Captain who was killed in action in 1944. The display can use a little cleaning up but this is what I have for now

Phil,
This is almost a retorical question; what would you do if another collector approached you about purchasing a tag the belonged with one of hie Purple Hearts?

While I am open to selling a good amount of tags from my collection I find it very hard to even consider the thought of selling any of the PH dog tags; in collecting these things for 15 years these are literally the only tags to wounded men I've ever purchased, save for one that I did sell around a year ago
