British Lifesaving Medal.

Although this is a civilian award given by the city of Liverpool, I hope the forum manager will allow it to stand for the time being.
This is one of the finest Medals I have seen.

It is British and it is a medal...looks like a good place for it!

Great looking medal BTW. Are there any statistics on how many have been awarded?

That's a right pretty award there R!!!!  I too wonder how many of these were awarded?  The rim engraving is BEAUTIFUL and very well defined and artistic....love the tradition the Brits have on doing this, but this is a step above! 8)
