Skyway goggles

Are these goggles desirable by collectors? The prices I've seen on the few that are for sale are astronomical.

The reason why I ask is that I want to recreate this photo out in Normandy in June and I believe that the jeep driver is wearing a set of these goggles.

Your quite right Neil , they are the SKYWAY goggle .
They are becoming very sought after ,so the prices will escalate accordingly as per normal , "supply and demand"
2018 and STILL WANTED! a pair of RAF 1940 Patt boots and RAF life vest
Always looking for quality condition USAAF stationary, ephemera, equipment and clothing.
Starting to look for the harder to find items e.g. survival kits and items also woukd like to add a complete "Gibson Girl " set up

they look in great condition Neil !!    a fair price in my opinion

But we all pay what we want to pay for an item , whether its above market price or not , and if we want them bad enough , we will pay !!     :D

What a strange bunch us collectors are !! ;D

Here you go Neil...worn "Fury" style. These are mint and cost $175. They were used by some flyers during WW2.
