LGB Balfour 3" Flight Surgeon Wings and NS Meyer 3" Flight Surgeon Wings

This is just a tease for a project I am currently researching.. I don't want to reveal all of the items just yet.

These are two of 4 different pairs of flight surgeon wings that I have in a grouping. The other set was posted and is the 2" Jenkel Jewelers pair.

The top pair of wings are NS Meyer marked.

The bottom pair of wings is an LGB Balfour 1/20th 10 karat gold filled pair.

They both appear to have started out as Observer wings and a gold medical caduceus was affixed to the wings.

Always looking for quality condition USAAF stationary,ephemera,equipment and clothing.
Starting to look for the harder to find items e.g. survival kits and items also woukd like to add a complete "Gibson Girl " set up
