A new NASA medal...
« on: August 29, 2014, 05:05:38 AM »
This medal was recently awarded to one of my co-workers that is a Civil Servant.

I am very impressed with the overall quality of this medal, it really looks great.  It is called the Early Career Achievement Medal, and it is one of four new NASA medals.

My co-worker really deserved this, and it was nice to see a quality medal come out of NASA.

The blue lanyard is not part of the medal set; it was used to hang the medal around his neck, which makes the presentation much easier.

Beautiful  :P

Wow, that is pretty nice. I am enjoying these other agency awards. I will have to make an effort next time I work during the week to inquire whether any of the agencies has awards on hand to photograph.
