US Tanker WW2
« on: November 12, 2017, 08:12:14 AM »
Hello my fellow collectors! It's been a while since I last posted on here...peaks and troughs etc....you know how it is sometimes?! Anyway, a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine organised a military model show...lots of r/c tanks...and asked if I could help out by filling a table for him. So...given that the models were mostly armour-related I did a complete US tanker layout for him. Every item is original WW2 dated. They're just snapshots taken on my phone but I hope they'll give the flavour?

Sorry about the few inverted images. The original photo-files were quite large so the system flipped them!

Really great display Ian and I bet the kids have never seen anything like that? You now need to get yourself a full mannequin and place him near the front door to the house!   ;D ;D    Scott
Always looking for 32nd Division items and 13th Armored Division items. Please keep me in mind if you have any.

Nice!  My only mannequin is a 12th AD tanker in the warmer months when my ATF repro jacket isn't needed.  Right now he's a 29th Div rifleman.

*My tanker's not nearly as complete and nice as this one!

Good show Ian!!

Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain.....
