is this something that actually was printed?

i'm curious to know if this was actually something sold during the war.

Look here for some more info about that edition Ron. Apparently, "Blighty" magazine was still in print in the 1950s.  ( NB...for the benefit of our non-British / Commonwealth readers, "Blighty" was the affectionate slang name for Britain, as used by our servicemen overseas. For example, if you got what the Yanks would call "a million dollar wound" it would be called "copping a Blighty one"...in other words, a ticket home!)
