Universal Camoflague Pattern - Delta
« on: June 25, 2016, 09:37:45 AM »
Received yesterday this never-used set of UCP-Deltas from my "Boss" here at Fort Polk, who was issued them while assigned to 2-508th PIR, 82d Airborne Division in Afghanistan in 2009.  These were operationally tested by a BN from the 82d ABN and a cavalry squadron from 4th ID, both in Afghanistan in 2009.  I think the pattern is much better than the silly "Gravel Suit" UCP ACUs as well.

FYI the small nylon square on the left cuff indicates that the uniforms are made of flame-retardant material - same square is on the left cargo pocket flap on the trousers

Looks to be a more effective pattern than the "forest green" ACUs.

I liked the UCP-D's when they came out - always wondered why "Big Army" didn't go with that pattern in the 1st place
