It looks fine to me! the catch might have been replaced, but it retains a nice amount of the frosted finish.

Carl,

Is it brass colored or silver? The lighting makes me believe these are gold colored.. Very nice looking regardless of the color...

Leigh...I believe they are actually silver. It's the reflected flash which makes the look brassy.

These Aerial gunner  wings just landed today and have settled in to their "nest" just fine and dandy ! :D :D
They look to have had the "bullet" placed on top of what i think is an Observer wing

im going to stick my neck out and say these are an AMCRAFT pattern , going by the maker marked pair i already have

Any other thoughts please ??

Nice looking wing Carl and certainly Amcraft style. Basic "Observer" wings form the basis of many other wing variants with the appropriate device simply soldered or riveted in place on the "O".

When you take a close look at the wing from the front , you can see a small mark "dent"  which i was thinking that it could be where the "rivet" is ???

Yeah. The Observer wing was relatively short lived. The manufacturers must've had plenty of residual stocks which they then re-cycled in this way, whether it was as an Aerial Gunner, Bombardier or Flight Surgeon etc.
