USAF CH-3B, Texas Tower Support, Cape Cod, circa 1962

Another part of Cape Cod Cold War History:  a USAF CH3-B stationed at Otis AFB.  The Air Force acquired  SH-3's from the Navy (they were mostly used in ASW) and converted them to support craft for the Texas Tower Radar stations off the East Coast.

I made this from the 1/72 Lindberg Sea King kit.  Thought it would look nice buzzing the Texas Tower 2 I made last year with the ping-pong balls...

Another great build Sis..

You're making me homesick seeing all these Cape Cod models...

Well done
