WWI 32nd Division ribbon bars
« on: April 09, 2018, 08:49:12 PM »
All of these came out of a 32nd Division armory that was closed last week. We have an arrangement with the national guard to receive artifacts when they move or close an armory. Previously, they would have gone to the dumpster... Very nice Victory ribbons with 4 stars, Mexican Border Service and Soldiers Medal!   Scott

Very nice Scott!  Congrats on your agreement with the National Guard, otherwise these small pieces of history would have ended up as dump fodder.

Definitely going to look into 32nd Div soldiers with the Soldiers Medal from the period of the Mexican Border. The pair without the Victory Medal may point to the Soldiers Medal having been awarded prior to 1917. Thanks!  Scott
