Thanks for posting.  I worked in my Dad's Machine Shop during High School and College and some of those processes were eerily similar.  However most would send an OSHA inspector into a frenzy these days!

(In the US OSHA = Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  A government organization that uses random and surprise visits to manufacturers to ensure worker safety.)
