M3
« on: October 28, 2016, 01:04:38 PM »
Hello Chaps

Hope you're all well

I'm looking for a WW2 M3 knife for my mixture of USAAF and Airborne collection.

If you have something you're willing to part with or know of any for sale in the UK, can you give me the wink please.

(Not really into well used and beaten up items) ;D

I was under the impression these were quite easy to find here, but aren't finding it that easy. Would happily get one sent from the US, but I believe our Postal system is clamping down on that from what I gather.

Thanks and regards

Lee

Hi Lee,

Have you had difficulty importing edged weapons into the UK?
Earlier this year I sold an M33 SS dagger to a chap in England and it arrived safely.

I haven't tried to be honest, just done some searches on the web and lots of people saying it's illegal and you can't do it??

A UK dealer has a beautiful Kinfolk, but I think 350 is a bit eye watering for an M3/M8

That's very expensive. I just sold an M3 with M6 scabbard for $750 USD.
